Important Information About Your Benefits Program

We want to provide you with essential information regarding our services through Enhanced Benefits Insurance Solutions, Inc. Please read the following details carefully:

Overview of Services

This website serves as a general overview of our service program; however, it is not a contract. Please note that Enhanced Benefits Insurance Solutions, Inc. reserves the right to change, discontinue, or terminate services at any time.

 

Required Distribution of Benefits Materials

The official terms of your benefits are governed solely by legal plan documents, including insurance contracts. In the event of discrepancies between the benefit descriptions on this website and the legal documents, the latter will be deemed the final authority.

All brochures, value added services, outlines of coverage, master policy and certificates should be distributed electronically or printed and provided to eligible employees. EBIS will provide you copies as they are received, our broker partners and clients are responsible for the method and execution of distribution of these documents to their employees. We encourage you to stay informed by reviewing all brochures, outlines of coverage, and other materials provided.

 

Enrollment Platforms

While we are both carrier and platform agnostic currently servicing on over 20 platforms, please be aware that our services may vary based on different systems. We utilize Ease as our primary in-house enrollment platform. We are currently collaborating with Employee Navigator to enhance our service offerings and look forward to being able to provide like services on their platform when they release a General Agency Marketplace option; we will keep you updated on any new developments.

New Elections, Changes and Terminations

For changes regarding elections and employee terminations, we kindly request that all carriers be connected to your enrollment platform wherever possible. Ease will facilitate notifications of terminations through our existing connection. If changes cannot be transmitted electronically, please ensure a scheduled report or individual notification is sent to support@ebisadvantage.com for assistance.

Invoice Auditing

Clients are advised to regularly audit their invoices monthly. It is essential to verify deduction amounts against your payroll system. Enhanced Benefits Insurance Solutions, Inc. is not liable for errors in carrier invoices. If you have identified discrepancies that require assistance, please contact support@ebisadvantage.com with your service request within 14 days of the invoice generation.

New Hire Benefits Onboarding and Evidence of Insurability Services

For new hires and evidence of insurability, it is crucial that we receive hire dates, eligibility details, and valid contact information at least 30 days prior to the start of benefits eligibility. This allows us to assist employees effectively. Please note that notifications for new hires entered into Ease within 60 days of their hire date require no further action. However, for other platforms, a push notification to EBIS is necessary for service requests.

Payroll Connections

All deduction information should be managed within your benefits enrollment platform and coordinated with your payroll vendor. Payroll notifications will not be initiated directly by the EBIS team, so please ensure proper connections are in place.
